Screen Queensland invites you to meet the Development and Production team as part of the SQ Roadshow 2015.
This special roadshow event begins next Thursday 5 March when Jo Dillon (Head of Development and Production) and her team travels to the Gold Coast (Thurs 5 March), Brisbane (Fri 6 March), Sunshine Coast (Tues 10 March) and Cairns (Thurs 26 March).
The SQ Roadshow is a wonderful opportunity for our industry to come together and talk about the current state of the screen sector, discuss Screen Queensland’s plans for the coming financial year and share our visions for the future.
During the sessions, our SQ team is keen to hear your thoughts about our new program guidelines (recently published on the Screen Queensland website). Amendments have been made to these guidelines to ensure our SQ programs remain flexible and evolve with the shifting screen landscape and therefore, are a better fit to the screen industry of today and tomorrow.
We want to continue our ongoing dialogue and discussion with industry and welcome your thoughts about other opportunities for us to work together in 2015-16FY and beyond.
SQ would also like to use this opportunity to continue a more formal conversation with industry about some proposed changes to our Terms of Trade and our funding structures.
We hope you can join us at one of the four upcoming roadshow sessions and join us for the networking event that will directly follow each presentation. As with our ongoing networking functions, we believe these events are the best way to meet new people, share connections, stories and ideas and ultimately build a stronger screen community.
