Made in Queensland
Queensland has a long track record of local production, as well as attracting interstate and international productions from companies such as MGM, Warner Bros., Paramount Pictures, Universal Studio Group, Walt Disney Pictures, Marvel Studios and Netflix.
For 30 years, Screen Queensland (formerly the Pacific Film and Television Commission) has invested in a strong local sector, supporting production of back-to-back films and series. This history of continuous production has made Queensland a world-renowned screen hub, home to experienced local producers, as well as local crew and post-production experts.
I would recommend to any filmmaker in the world to come to this exciting place.

It's a director's joy to have the opportunity to work with the entire Australian film community. I've shot two of my most recent films here, including Eden, and am always incredibly impressed by the remarkable people both in front of and behind the camera. Choosing a location to shoot a film in is of the utmost importance, and Queensland is a premiere international production location, with its creatively adept talent and crews, supportive filming community, and beautiful exterior locations.

The quality of the crews, and the competitive pricing, it's an A+ location for filming.

Thanks to our amazing crew, we wrapped a few days early and came in under budget. I cannot wait to come back to Queensland for another project. Thank you, Screen Queensland, for having us.
